Part 2 of a Two-part Feature on Voice Now Available in Teacher Magazine
Back in January, we saw Wade Repta's first article of a two-part series on voice published in the January/February 2019 issue of the BCTF's Teacher magazine. "Protect your voice" covered why and how teachers can go about taking care of their most important classroom tool - their voice.
Wade's second article, "Maintain your voice", now available in the Teacher magazine's March 2019 issue, builds on those ideas by introducing a number of different ways teachers can protect their voice.
For additional information, tips, and resources on the Teacher Voice, consult chapter 5 in The Well Teacher. And, if you are currently experiencing voice dysfunction, it is important to consult with with your doctor or a registered SLP. Your voice is your greatest asset as a teacher, so be sure to give it the attention it deserves.
